Various: Selection of framed prints
A selection of framed and unframed prints from personal design projects including Metatron’s Cube origami, isometric shapes, the Rich McNabb font, Travel Rewards and 30 Minutes to Mars.

Metatron’s Cube origami
An app for making origami Platonic solids based on Metatron’s Cube.

Isometric shapes
A personal design exploration with isometric shapes and colour. Sometimes the best projects are the ones with no set goal — just designing to see where you end up.

New Zealand travel
Based on the physical passenger arrival card people fill out when entering New Zealand, this project aimed to educate travellers about which items they can bring into the country. The app was designed for cruise passengers to help them have a great trip and understand New Zealand’s biosecurity laws.

Rich McNabb font
I wanted to build on Herbert Bayer’s 1925 experimental universal typeface and create a simple geometric vector font, making it publicly available as a free download. This had three goals: becoming more proficient with vector software like Sketch and Illustrator, building out my design portfolio, and giving something back to the design community.

Travel rewards
In some ways digital design is the complete opposite of sculpture. With sculpture you start with something solid and chip it down until you reach the vision in your head. With digital design it’s the reverse — you start with a rough sketch and iterate, adding detail and polish until it meets your expectations. Digital design is far more forgiving

30 Minutes to Mars font
I wanted to create a simple geometric vector font and make it publicly available as a free download. This served three goals: becoming more proficient with vector software like Sketch and Illustrator, building out my design portfolio, and giving something back to the design community.
